Lift service – passenger and industry lifts
Passenger and industrial lift services
ILS Lift Services works with construction procurement managers, building contractors, property management companies and architects on:
- new lift installations
- routine maintenance
- emergency repairs
- health & safety inspections
- safety checks and operation tests.
Advice, consultation, audits
We have carried out a raft of operation and safety audits for our clients to help them schedule high priority and medium priority lift operation repairs.
Because we’re able to reach all areas of the lift operation that are invisible in general inspection, this saves our clients time, money and worry.
New lift installations
ILS undertakes lift package specifications for architects and builders of projects large and small. We install single-shaft multiple lifts to dumb-waiter lifts for restaurants and pubs.
In 2006, we were contracted by the consortium of Bechtel, Arup, Halcrow and Systra to procure and install lifts for the Channel Tunnel Rail Link.
The life span of a lift is between 20 and 40 years’ old. Parts and components are upgraded all the time, and ILS carry out modernisation of various mechanical elements to prolong the life of a lift.
We also undertake refurbishment projects where building interiors are refreshed with redesign or where lift interiors are well-worn or unappealing.
